We're building what Northern California has been missing.
From your very first call, you're met with warmth and dignity. Faith-integrated support is available for those who want it — never required, never pushed. Everyone belongs here.
CBT, motivational interviewing, trauma-informed care, and family systems work — proven therapies combined with whole-person care for mind, body, and spirit.
Family involvement, community connection, and lifelong aftercare. Recovery doesn't end when treatment does — and neither do we.
Shaped by 20+ years of experience in addiction treatment — built around what actually works.
We offer 30, 60, and 90-day inpatient programs — round-the-clock care in a safe, structured setting where healing can take root. Each day blends individual counseling, group therapy, and life-skills training with time to rest, reflect, and reconnect. Residents live on-site in our 16-bed center with freshly prepared meals, a supportive peer community, and family involvement woven throughout — evidence-based treatment delivered with the warmth of a close-knit community.
Medical detox referrals are coordinated through partner facilities.
Healing rarely follows a single path. If substance use and mental health challenges are both part of your story — anxiety, depression, trauma — both deserve real attention. Through our partnership with Parish Health and Wellness, every resident receives a mental health assessment and ongoing telehealth therapy that begins here and stays with them through every stage of recovery.
Recovery doesn't end when treatment ends. When you're ready to transition out of residential care, we connect you with trusted IOP programs and sober living options in the community — so you don't walk out the door without a plan and a support network already in place.
Stable housing isn't just a practical need — it's the foundation everything else is built on. Through relationships with vetted sober living homes — including Stability Solutions in Tehama & Shasta County — Sunbright helps individuals leaving residential care land somewhere safe, structured, and surrounded by people who understand the road ahead.
The building is ready and we're opening. Every donation, room adoption, and act of generosity goes directly toward deepening the care and comfort we can offer to people in recovery — giving residents a better experience and a stronger foundation to build on.
Choose what works for you. Every dollar goes directly toward opening Sunbright's doors and changing lives in our community.

Cash gifts help the most — they let us put support exactly where it's needed right now. Your dollars make a direct difference across every area:
Lead a life-skills class, mentor a resident, help with beautification and outdoor projects, tend the garden, or lend a hand at fundraisers and community events. Whatever you're good at — teaching, cooking, gardening, organizing, or simply showing up — there's a meaningful place for it here. Even a few hours makes a difference.
VolunteerTwin mattresses, blankets, pillows, and bedding; dressers and everyday furniture; kitchen gear like pots, pans, dishes, and small appliances; hygiene products, towels, lotions, and cleaning supplies; plus outdoor benches and a table. New or gently used both help — every item donated is one less cost.
